On Saturday April 30th, 2022 at 7:30 p.m. the Astronomical Society of Nevada will be giving a presentation on the constellation Leo the Lion. We will talk about its history, mythology and deep sky objects within its boundaries. In addition we will talk about constellations and DSOs (Deep Sky Objects) nearby. At the end of the AV program we will do night sky observing of these objects.
Meet outside the Galena Creek Visitor Center on Mount Rose Highway. Bring a chair, blanket, warm clothes and binoculars if you have them.
