Hurricane Barry

As of late morning, July 13, 2019, Barry made landfall in Louisiana and has been downgraded by the National Hurricane Center to a tripical storm. The storm had strengthened to a hurricane earlier today. Still expected from the storm will be a strong storm surge, heavy and prolonged rain and wind. 

The Satellite image was taken by U.S. Astronaut Christina Koch on Thursday, July 11, 2019 from the International Space Station. In the photograph are Alabama, Florida, Louisiana, and Texas.
