Ophiuchus is sometimes called the 13th Zodiac. Oh Boy astrology! Yet there are many good deep space targets in the constellation, Ophiuchus. Many open and closed clusters, with several Messier objects.
On a cloudy, windy night, twenty people showed up for Mike H’s presentation. Ophiuchus is sometimes called the 13th Zodiac. Oh Boy astrology! Yet there are many good deep space targets in the constellation, Ophiuchus. Many open and closed clusters, with several Messier objects. Many are easily seen with a 6 or 8 inch telescope.
Jim and Mike did their normal education of the constellation and some mythology. Brad and Rob had their telescopes ready but there was no chance that we could see anything. Thank you for showing up.
