I looked at maps.ask.com, and it shows Tucson less than 2 hours away from Phoenix!...and...


...Just found out that:

www.usairways.com lists coach seats from Reno to Phoenix at $65 each way
www.enterprise.com lists weekly car rentals from $100/week (plus huge tax by the way)

Tim's idea for a summer ASN trip to Arizona seems very practical to me.

I checked the airlines, and it seems that the above mentioned prices are only for Janaury (& feb?), as they double even checking this far out nearer to summer. An alternative would perhaps be a van, I think.
