From Saturday, June 10, 2017 -  09:00pm
To Sunday, June 11, 2017 - 01:35am
Jupiter's moons will be on the planet for a double transit in progress at dusk (8:30 pm).
We can watch as the moons separate from Jupiter's disk at 9:00 pm (Ganymede) and 10:07 pm (Io).
Io's shadow will be visible on Jupiter from 9:05 - 11:15 pm.
Ganymede's shadow will be visible from 11:20 pm - 1:35 am.
These events will overlap several times:
Ganymede will separate from Jupiter's disk just before Io's shadow appears.  Io will separate while its shadow is on Jupiter and the Red Spot is visible too.
The red spot will be centered on Jupiter's disk at 10:41, while Io's shadow is visible.
Europa will emerge from an eclipse (in Jupiter's shadow) at 12:10 am, while Ganymede's shadow is visible.  The partial eclipse of Europa and the moon separations will each last for several minutes.  The times given are the mid-points of each event.
